Matthew 5:14 –  “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Mexico, located in North America and rich in cultural heritage and vibrant traditions, is home to about 128–130 million people. The nation’s spiritual landscape has long been shaped by Christianity, with Roman Catholicism historically recognized as the dominant faith tradition, alongside a rapidly growing evangelical Protestant community. Across bustling cities, rural villages, and border regions, many believers are seeking to shine Christ’s light amid social challenges and deep spiritual hunger.

Jesus’ words in Matthew remind the Church in Mexico of its calling to be a visible light — reflecting hope, truth, and compassion in every community. In a nation filled with creativity, resilience, and strong family values, the Gospel continues to bring transformation and renewal.

Prayer Focus:

• Pray for unity among churches across Mexico, that believers from diverse backgrounds would work together in making disciples among all people groups.
• Ask God to bring freedom from corruption, violence, drug trafficking, and spiritual strongholds, replacing fear with peace and justice.
• Lift up migrant workers and their families, praying for provision, safe community, and the loving support of the Church so that many would encounter the hope and security found in Christ.
• Finally, pray for safety, peace, and warm hospitality as they Co-host and prepares to host the 2026 World Cup, that this global gathering would become an opportunity for unity, witness, and God-honoring influence.
