QATAR

Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?”

Qatar, a small but influential nation on the Arabian Peninsula, is home to about 2.7–3 million people, the majority of whom are expatriate workers from many nations. The dominant religion is Islam, which shapes cultural and public life, while Christian communities largely consist of international believers gathering in recognized worship settings. Amid rapid economic development and global influence, Qatar stands as a strategic place where people from diverse backgrounds encounter one another, creating unique opportunities for spiritual conversations and witness.

Psalm 27 reminds believers that God is both light and stronghold — a source of courage and hope in environments where faith can feel quiet or hidden. Even in places where the Church is small, the Lord continues to draw hearts toward Himself with grace and power.

Prayer Focus:

• Pray for an established and growing Church among the Qatari people, rooted in love, wisdom, and faithful discipleship.
• Ask God to reveal Jesus through dreams, visions, and miracles that point many to His truth and salvation.
• Pray for the Lord of the Harvest to send more workers — filled with humility, cultural sensitivity, and compassion — to serve faithfully among the diverse communities living in Qatar.
